i always remind my son to say his prayers before going to bed. one night, as i was tucking him, he made the sign of the cross, closed his eyes, and finished his silent prayer. being a nosy person, i asked him what he prayed for. 'i prayed for Buddy.' and then he followed it with: 'i prayed that he will listen to me.' kids really say the darndest thing.
btw: Buddy is our 3 year old dog.
